The opening list

When you use our signup form, your email address is sent directly to Mailchimp, which manages our opening list. We use that list to send S&S menu previews, opening updates and the Edmonton address announcement.

You join the list when your signup is successfully submitted. No email confirmation is needed. You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails. For help with your details or a removal request, contact hello@shaaxandsheeko.com.

Mailchimp may process signup and email-interaction information, such as the time of signup, IP address, email opens and link clicks, depending on the service settings and your email application. See Mailchimp’s privacy policy for how it handles this information.

Website analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to help us understand visits and how people use our pages. Google Analytics can use cookies and process information such as the pages viewed, browser and device information, and approximate location. Our signup form sends your email to Mailchimp, not to Google Analytics through our website code.

You can manage cookies in your browser and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Read Google’s privacy policy for more information.

Hosting and other services

Our website hosting and content providers process technical information needed to deliver the site, such as IP addresses and browser requests. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and displays a Mailchimp badge. These requests go to the relevant providers.

Instagram, TikTok and other external links take you to services with their own privacy policies. We don’t control how those services handle information.

When you email us

We use the contact details and information you send us to respond to your inquiry. Please don’t include sensitive personal information that we don’t need to help you.
